Travel

Q: What do we need to travel to Mexico?

A: You must have Passports to enter Mexico. The Cabo airport code is SJD. For immigration, you need to know the house address is 125 Paseo Finisterra, the city is San Jose del Cabo, and the state is Baja Sur California or BSC.

Transportation

Q: Do you provide ground transportation?

A: Celebrate Life Cabo does NOT provide transportation. We recommend you rent a car through the US. All major companies are at the Cabo Airport SJD (Hertz, Avis, Budget, and many others). Otherwise, transportation from the airport to the house is about $20-25+ per person. Cab service to downtown San Jose del Cabo is about $10-20+ and to Cabo San Lucas is about $85+. Cabs to beach areas and the Hotel corridor are priced somewhere in between. Uber is also available and we recommend if you have used Uber before but hard to find where you can fit more than 4 passengers. Smmaller cars in Cabo.

Staff

Q: Does Celebration of Life have any staff?

A: Raul Garcia will meet you at the house for a “Meet and Greet” and give you the keys. Chef services are available as well and information regarding those options are available upon arrival. The maids come to clean on Saturday and are at the house from around 9am to 2pm on the day of your arrival and departure.

Generally, a $15 tip is not only appreciated but very much expected. You would give this to the maid directly. There is an option (we highly recommend it) to have the maid come mid-week (Wednesday). They clean the entire house and change bed linens and launder all the towels. This service is $45 and you can schedule it the day of your arrival. You pay the maid service directly in USD. Email celebratelifecabo@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Paulino stops by the house on Saturdays and Wednesdays to water and take care of the garden and planters.

Other Amenities

Q: What additional amenities does Celebrate Life Cabo have?

A: Celebrate Life Cabo is our home away from home so you will find almost all the comforts of home at the villa including:

Washer & Dryer, Hair Dryers in Each Bathroom, Free Password Protected Wifi, Lower Level & Patio Sound System, Smart TV with Netflix, etc. on Patio, Many Beach Towels, 2 Beach Umbrellas, 4 Beach Chairs

Groceries

Q: We’d like to cook meals at the house. Where do we get groceries?

A: The La Comer store is an 8-minute walk or 2 minutes by car. It has everything, groceries, pharmacy, clothes, housewares, wine, beer, etc. There is also a Costco near Cabo San Lucas (20 minute drive), and you need your US membership card to get in.
